Why I Created Rosie's Daughter
Rosie's Daughter was born from a story that is deeply personal to me, but one that I know is shared by so many women.
I am Rosie's granddaughter. I am also the daughter of a woman who spent much of her life navigating challenges that no one should have to face alone. Growing up, I witnessed the impact that poverty, addiction, instability, and limited access to support can have on a person, a family, and an entire community.
As I got older, I began to realize that my family's story wasn't unique. Through my work in community and government spaces, and my own lived experience, I've met countless women carrying responsibilities, overcoming barriers, and doing everything they can to create a better future for themselves and their families. I've met women looking for community, searching for opportunity, trying to heal, and simply needing a place where they feel seen and supported.
Rosie's Daughter was created for those women. It was created because I believe women deserve access to wellness, opportunity, leadership, community, and spaces where they can be poured into, not just spaces where they are expected to pour into everyone else.
At its heart, Rosie's Daughter is about creating pathways for women to connect, heal, grow, and thrive.
Because when women are supported, families grow stronger. And when families grow stronger, communities become healthier, more connected, and better equipped for future generations.
Because when women thrive, communities thrive.
In community,
